ABOUT OMNIA

Koala Marketing Company AB is a Swedish company that manufactures the Omnia with accessories and owns the brand.

HISTORY

No one is quite sure when the Omnia first saw the light of day. And there are a few different legends about how the idea came about and was realized. What we do know for sure is that the little oven has existed for a long time and is hugely popular - in Sweden and other countries. We have evidence that is has been around since the 1940s, and probably even earlier.

In the mid-1970s when Optimus, which manufactured the oven, merged with Alde, the Pan was made 25% bigger and the lid, which used to be blue, was changed the now-familiar red.  

Koala Marketing has been making the Omnia since 2006.
